Let him feel bad in such situation, he has full right to do so.

I guess I'm too sensitive to crew/pilot a warship.

Just become a bastard like the rest of us. It's not that hard.

Speak for yourself! I'm not a bastard!
I'm a royally polite arse.

Weeeel, technically I'm more of a maniacal, sado-masochistic, psychopath, disguised under a thin veneer of politeness. Mining utterly breaks that mask for the duration of mining. It also cracks a lot when I'm a main engineer.

Squidslinger Gilder:
Well you could put it on a squid and run away and lose the match but you'd only get half points. I thought of that option ahead of time because frankly I'd probably try it myself. The only real dirty trick which wasn't really addressed was suiciding to end a match. Or what if "A harsh world" took the cargo. It would probably count as a turnover but which ship would get it wasn't thought up. When I saw the steal happening I couldn't help but think about that along with the rest of the staff at the time.  Then think, man I'm glad I'm not flying that right now :D.

Carn:
What is this about cargo? Was there a update? I can't currently play do to horrendous WiFi.

Squidslinger Gilder:
Aerodrome event has ran a custom cargo carrier gametype for the last few weeks. Basically a variant of capture the flag/ball where the cargo carrier switches sides to whoever got the kill. You can win via kills but if you don't have the cargo it's not really a win. So the trick is how to play it and end up with the cargo in the end. There is a ping system so you can know where the carrier is. Lot of neat matches. Early on we had one where the teams set it all up to kill the escorts till the final kill came up, then went after the cargo and swiped it on the final kill. Risky but payed off. Then last saturday there was a tense match where a squid swiped the cargo right at the end. They lost on the kill count but won with the cargo because the opposing team couldn't catch the squid and finally downed another boat.

Overall really impressed by the teams playing the event. Bit more tactical gametype as the victory conditions could shift on the fly and those that could do that really shined. Different from CK where its a bit more strategic and planning ahead.

Carn:
Ahhhhh thank you. That sounds interesting indeed.
