Not entirely sure, think mid WWII planes, I'm leaning towards Britain.

If it's a British plane, it should be a Sea Hurricane mk II.
Also planes like the Russian Yak could be more fitting.
The American P-400 could also be nice.
But since I have a thing for German planes I would opt for the Bf 109 E-4.

I believe Bdr said something about a Full Wing Design. Hope that narrows things down.

For "full wing" you mean something like the B-2 "Spirit" ?

Flying Wings are pretty sweet.  I don't think they'd be so good for fighters though...
