Is it OK for me to be a ridiculously good gunner, or, at the very least, extremely lucky?

Koali, the weather deck, where Alister is, ABOVE the gunnery deck, where you are. Directly above you. You can't aim it that high.

Plus, you have to shoot through the floo and behind you. The gun platform extends out

The guns don't really rotate that much

I could've sworn you were off fighting aboard a Squid somewhere.

Evidently, you aren't. Lemme go point the flak cannon at someone else.

EDIT: Right, there's a new post, the raider's alive, and I just missed a raider truck by a mile.

Now, this operates on the assumption that the caravan is within my arcs. Is that assumption correct?

Yes, that is correct.

Also what happened with the squid was that it crashed into the weather deck after a flyby consisting of Antonio and Farris who I'm enjoying writing a bit.

I was under the impression it was destroyed. And Koali, this is why you read the other posts. Alister WAS on the Squid, then he boarded the main ship to attack the raiders who ALREADY boarded it.

The first squid was destroyed and its crew bailed out over the shadow. The second squid disengaged and parked over the transport before being destroyed by the scout wing.

Well, the problem has been rectified, we just need someone with powers to delete the post.

Gaige apparently likes exercising his twitchy trigger finger enough to trust that Amelia can deal with that idiot crew all on her lonesome.

Not that she's incompetent, just that's it's a lot of stupidity to handle alone for anyone.

I think she's raised their fear of her, higher than their stupidity.

As Gaige wisely said; "Sometimes subtlety with the threat of much violence later on is a very effective method."

Thought I'd compile our current list of mentioned minor characters, those with and without names, which is few mind you, but it'd be good to remember who's who.

Named Minor Crew:
Mr. Charles Banning - Comm Officer (Unknown Shift)
Belle - Comm Officer (Unknown Shift)

Mentioned Unnamed Minor Crew:
Head Engineer (Male, Bushy Beard, Random Shifts)
4 Man Maintenance Crew (The Flak of Doom)
-Team Leader (Male)
-Crew Member (Male)
-Crew Member (Female)
-Crew Member (Male)
Helmsman (Male, Unknown Shift)
Birdman Infiltrator (Undiscovered, Male, Probably A Huge Asshole)

While a minor point I was also thinking we could set up a duty roster, after all we have a lot of crew and while we won't get to know everyone it'll at least allow the minor characters to be seen doing other things, I propose we use this system https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watch_system#Swedish_system but that's up for discussion. If we do decide this (Might be a bit complicated) I'd like a concrete crew count so I can simply fill in no names to populate the roster.

As for the scout wing we have the typical combat division of:

A Flight:
Davis
Kei

B Flight:
Antonio
Farris
