I really need an exercise to get off this procrastination cycle.
I've been writing this novel for quite a while now but I'm so desperate for it to be really good that the thought of touching it terrifies me.


So I'm proposing the following. Write an anthology of stories in guns of Icarus. It can be meta, RP, it can even be a writing challenge for me, it can be in the perspective of a player, or even as a character in the guns universe (what is the world of Icarus called anyway? Sky world? Gaia? Earth? Icarii? Icaria?)


And if muse is ok. Upload the collected works to this site.

and see where it goes for shizzles and giggles. Hell all proceeds could even go towards muse's development in the game IF it gets published.

hmmm dementio which of the 7 plots do you want it in? Word limit? Must have themes? Ship name?

I was thinking about a silly and short story related to skirmish mode, because, you know, Spires tend to die a lot, but this story is about The Spire That Survived, with that as it's "name". Perhaps told from the pilot point of view.
Completely default, no theme, no figurehead, maybe the color red, but that's as far as it goes. Because it survived it appears to be rather neutral, unless you want to add a conflict in, then you might want to have it be different from whoever is trying to get it with usage of different colors/themes, if there is somebody like that.
Since I wanted it to be a rather short story, maybe a 1000 to 5000 words? Whatever suits your needs best, I suppose.

I don't know the lore all too well, less the factions and their attributes, so I am not able to give you a particular setting other than a silly (possibly over-emotionalised) version of skirmish mode :l

Now that I am thinking about it, somebody may want to write down the story of the Burning Skies Saloon
