Rhinoceros is a LATIN word origination from Ancient Greek ῥινόκερως (rhinókerōs), composed of ῥίς (rhís, “nose”) + κέρας (kéras, “horn”) (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/rhinoceros)
Most adaptions of the word in other languages are very close to the latin version:
Rhinocéros (French)
Rhinozeross (German)
Rhinoceros (Spanish)
Rhinoceros (Portuguese)

Thats true and not, half or more languages dont use the latin, and more languages (much more) use Minotaur quite directly.

Dutch Vanya:
Well, i think it would probably be named 'Minos' rather than Minotaur. Since many guns are named after greek mythology.

Replaceable:
What's a rhino man hybrid called?
Because a bull man is a Minotaur.

Also I'd vote for Rhinocerous based on Wundsalz's argument alone.

Spud Nick:
I think "Blamer Cannon" sounds better.
