Well...in truth...it's more of if anything hits your ship, a random component will explode unrelated to the area effected by said blast, and THEN you would be on the ground if you were next to said component.
And your red shirt would then be more red.

Sky Whale pheromones, spray it on another ship and a sky whale will appear and try to mate with it.
