Silly Ideas That Would Break the Game

Give the captain the ability to frog march crew members around the ship. Also give the captain the ability to frog march bad crew off the ship entirely. Almost like a kick button only the captain has to physically catch the offender and throw them off the ship for it to work.

Mega Harpoon which pulls ships together at the speed of Moonshining Squids,

Electrohull pilot tool, kinda like the opposite of Impact Bumpers (to be abused with the Mega Harpoon, naturally), zaps both vessels for mutually assured destruction,

Superheavy Gatling medium weapon, fires Piercing with Explosive AOE, witness Galleons pretending they are floating ED-209's,

WoW-style Hunter pets for all crews.  Inb4 clouds of duck pets and deafening quack attacks.

Oh lord, pets.  They're a neat class feature for one particular class, they lose their novelty and become annoying when EVERYONE FUCKING HAS ONE.  I really wish MMOs and RPGs would quit including pets for everyone, they're tacky and tacked on.

Hmm, I actually like that idea, I may add something like it to a map concept I am brewing up.
