As a metamidion pilot I will say the benefit to Greased is giving it to everyone and telling them to load it after emptying the first magazine, that normally gives me the time I need to get up close and saves arguing which is best, though if it's a gunner who knows his stuff heavy greased and heat sink are a good way to go
