Escape doesn't cancel chat

Now I'm supposed to delete all my message using 'backspace' and then hit enter instead of just hitting escape then j/k/l and writing a new message. One of the most counter-intuitive things in new patch for me.

As an alternitive you can press "Ctrl + A" to select your entire chatbox message and then hit backspace to delete everything at once or do "Ctrl + X" to copy it for later.

If I understood correctly this is considered as bug and will be fixed.

Digging this up because it's still an issue.

Alternatively, you can simply click anywhere on the screen and it all goes away :D
