Piloting tools remaining on after death?
« on: April 01, 2013, 04:18:52 pm »
So, you're battling for your life, the enemy gets the upper hand and goes in for the ram, you know your only hope is to hydrogen up and out, but alas, you're too late, you die anyway. Oh well, you respawn, let's get back into the fight. You get to the helm, press E, WHOOSH your balloon inflates.

Godamnit.

Is there any way the tools could not stay on after death, just lurking, waiting for you to get back on the helm before they pounce?

It'd certainly help prevent those situations where a new captain's ship mysteriously loses its balloon instantly on respawn, killing the ship repeatedly.

I agree with this.... Ammo resets on death, so I figure this could be fairly easy to implement

100% agree. Its rather annoying, and never used to be that way. Just have it reset to 1 or something.

Por favor.

Yes, this is a problem needs to be resolved. Been many times where I jump back on the helm with my head turned for a seconds; then returns to the screen to a sinking ship.

Muse is really good about this stuff so I have a feeling it's already being worked on. Looking forward to the fix.

Ah yes! This would be great! I keep accidently leaving "phoenix claw" on sometimes when I die. Or even the "brace for impact" and I wonder why I'm moving so slow! lol
