The MLG Charity Tournament

Hello all! As you may have heard, the first ever Guns of Icarus MLG tournament is in the process of being built right now. If you would like to participate in the running of the tournament, we will be having a mandatory TeamSpeak meeting August 16th at 5pm EST. The following positions are in need to be filled: Refs, Scoring/quality assurance, graphic/art design, executive assistant, public relations and general admins/mods. If you are interested in any of these slots, feel free to contact me at gkconnor91@gmail.com. TeamSpeak information will be given out by 13 August via email. If you are interested in a role(s), however can not make the time due to circumstances out of your control, please feel free to contact me. This is for extreme circumstances only. If you have an idea for a role that could be useful, that is not already mentioned, feel free to contact me as well.

P.S. Dont be afraid to volunteer for positions and think that you will not be able to participate in the actual event. That is an issue that we will discuss in the meeting and will hopefully be easily catered.

I just want to mention that those "extreme" circumstances may include being European, for I think that there will be only but a few devoted European voulnteers to have a meeting at 4am

This will happen at like 6 am for me, but late practices become a usual things since I joined ducks

I am really interested in taking the design part, working on logos, announcements and streamoverlays to make them in same style. I had no expierence on that, but I really want to try, and i need  a lot of help from casters, to know what exactly the want in techical details (resolutions, etc.).

While I don't plan to pick up any organisational work for the MLG tournament and hence aren't affected directly myself, I do dislike the recent tendency to forget about the EU-playerbase when competitive events are planned. Please get the entire player base involved!

As a note, the day of the meeting for this (15th) is also the day the all day GOIO stream is happening.

I will have another meeting for EU people who are interested. Please give me a time that would work for most EU. I was trying to keep EU in mind with the previous time, however it seems its still awkward for them.
