Those Japanese Signals

(1/5) > >>

Sprayer:
Make the addressee of a voicecommand choose the language of said command, not the sender. Thank you very much.

Squidslinger Gilder:
No, they still get text in their own language. If my Japanese voices get taken away...<words about wrath, doom, and tentacles, too extreme to be left visible go here>!!!

As long as this doesn't change, I agree with...

And I don't even remember enough of my 4 years of studying Japanese to figure out what they're saying most of the time anyway. And I don't use the Japanese speech option. My character speaks English, but I like hearing that little bit of added diversity from the players who do use voice commands.

shaelyn:
yeah I have a love/hate relationship with this suggestion.  it's better functionally to have it spoken in whatever language the listener is native to, yes.  but there is at least the text, and I honestly prefer the diversity over the functionality.

I never thought I would type that I have a preference of anything over functionality @.@

alsowouldlovepiratevoicecommandskthxbye

EDIT:  would be a thing if the addressee had an option to hear it in only their native language or in the language the speaker chose.  though, I'm probably asking too much XD

I agree on both counts.

This would be great if it's practical to implement, but it probably isn't. Here's hoping we're wrong on the second part.
