Linux Users: How are the mouse controls?
Lenin's Ghost:
There have been some issues with getting the mouse sensitivity on Linux "just right". Something either with Linux OS or the way Unity receives/processes input from Linux doesn't work quite the same way as on PC, so we have a special case for handling mouse input on Linux.
We've recently gotten a few e-mails regarding this, and we'd like to get more feedback. If you are a Linux player, how are the mouse controls? Are they too sensitive/not enough/just right? Have you noticed any changes in the past few months?
Thanks everyone :)

Hi,
looking at my settings I set the mouse (and gun) sensitivity to 1.55 in-game (0.76 in the config file), so the default sensitivity is not enough for me (I changed my mouse recently but I don't remember if I adjusted those values). Looking at the configuration file on a system I played a couple of months ago (~9 month) the value is 0.46. I remember on the same computer with 0.46 I needed to push the sensitivity on Windows (7) to be on the same level (I believe it was ~1.33 in-game). Manufacturer of this computer is Acer, my current computer is from Lenovo, both are laptops running Debian unstable/experimental branch.
I didn't noticed any changes in the past month (or don't remember), also even I needed to adjust those settings I feel comfortable the way it is because you can still set the sensitivity to the preferred level.
Greetings
Lueosi
Kanja:
I don't have the numbers currently but I have them at the maximum value, and it is still slow to look around.
Kethwyn:
It feels quite flaky at times i remember needing to bring it down a little since it was too sensitive.

Met a new player today with the following specs:
Kubuntu 14.04 x64 with a Logitech G500 mouse
Nvidia GTX560
6gb of Dell Vostro 420 3gb ram
500gb Samsung SSD
And Guns is the ONLY Unity3D game that DOESN'T cause mouse problems for him. His username is GuruMeditation.
