Crap I forgot to re-post the faction summary. Unfortunately a lot of the images used in the last one have dissapeared so I had to swipe most of it from the kickstarter page. As such this "summary" will be quite short, bad, unhelpful and probably not worth posting...

The Yesha Empire
Capital:Chang-Ning
Inspired by Oriental/Asian culture
They reside in the western area of the world.
Designed the Galleon and the most likely the Goldfish. Also worth to mention that he Pyramideon is a modified version of a Yesha warship.
The Anglean Republic
Capital: Kinforth
Kinforth can be seen above. This faction resides in the cold north of Angela and Firnfield. They where previously mentioned to be some kind of pirates or vikings, but they're still supposed to be a full-grown faction and rather different from the regular pirates you'd find.
The Fjord Baronies
Inspired by Nordic and medieval culture, which gives their clothing a lot of fur, capes and braids
Resides in and around the Fjords and "Eastern Ridge" to the east of The Burren.
Sadly I didn't find any remaining picture of their ships, but their initial concept was quite interesting. Instead of having one or two big balloons they had a cluster of smaller balloons, either round or squareish.
The Arashi League
Not much info to go on this faction. They reside in the southwestern areas, wich seem to be mostly desert. I would guess their quite a "rag tag" faction.

The Order of Chaladon
Capital: Averna
Resides on the huge island "Chaladon", which seems to be one of the last places in the world where everything isn't so burren.
Their style seem quite expensive and elegant
