I built a airfix spitfire not too long ago, good basic kits that give you a great satisfaction when a build goes really well.

Been laying out drawings for the lower deck, honestly this is the tricky part coming up. Lots of ways to make it look not quite right.  I've already taken some libertys with certain details and relations...

Oh I figure the scale of this build to be aproximately 1/300.

And here you can see the gun deck is made from grate material.

Make sure you add the scrum bell on the lower deck.
