The cycle just wouldn't stop... One day everybody was using them, and the next it was freaking useless.

It started with a discussion about adventure mode, world-building and fast-travel. In the end we agreed upon that the real backstory to GoIO was that giant flying rutabagas had taken over the world. It then established itself as some kind of "meme" on the early forum. One of my fondest memories from the old days :D
