Red Button Consequences

<< < (39/92) > >>

Mod Josie:
Everybody stops what they're doing and turns to look at Indreams, hunched over a small item. In unison they all slowly trudge towards him and crowd around. One brave boy steps out from the crowd and walks up to Indreams, hope flickering across his dirty face....

.........

Nothing.

........

The crowd are sobbing as dramatic string music plays through an indeterminable source, as if it's emanating from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. A bolt of lightning strikes the button, destroying it utterly as the music becomes yet more tense. An organ starts playing and Koali raises his fist to the sky, shaking it and yelling into the dark, overcast atmosphere. More lightning hits the nearby area as the music diminishes slightly. Only the true Red Button will work - not some inferior creation. In the knowledge that only two remain in existence, Koali rallies the gathering of humans and other creatures. They must find the pieces of the Button together in order to restore the world they once knew and loved. It would take days, months maybe years but they MUST correct what has been done wrong.

Or they could borrow Jacob's button. He seems nice.

David Dire:
After reading the plotline, David pops into the story because plot devices. In his radical Hindenburg II, he quickly flies to the crash location of all the other important characters who are probably useless but we like them anyway. Unfortunately, 7 lighting bolts strike his awesome ship of massive proportions and radness and it lights aflame. Quickly, David leaps out of the control cabin and lands on Koali to survive the fall. He then joins Indreams shaking his fist at the sky yelling "WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHYYYYYYYY!?"

Indreams:
"WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHYYYYYYYY!? Dammit Engi, CHEM SPRAY! NOT EXTINGUISHER"

Koali:
Hey Jacob? Can we borrow your button?

Mod Josie:
In the sky above, a shimmering hole poofs out of nowhere. Inside can be seen a projection of Jacob's office; he sits, staring down at the creatures.

"What? You lost the Button?"

The glistening projection fades and the clouds behind it are seen to continue to roll through the air.
