The most important thing to know about a squid (and I am not kidding here) is that it is one of the best ramming, and tea bagging ships. Take kerosene and impact bumpers, run a buff cycle on your engines and hull. You'll be able to flank, and then charge full speed into the enemy. I like to ram their balloon, and then sit on them spewing fire from above.
