Cogs First Week - Week 0

(1/4) > >>

Dev Bubbles:
Hi everyone,
Thanks for playing yesterday.  Firstly, sorry for the slow time, and sorry to Carnage for not being able to stream the Merry vs Gents match.  It was truly amazing, and I was the only person who got to spectate.  Really sorry about that.  Next week, that issue will be fixed.

All the matches (except for Pasta vs Museosaurs, where Muse got wiped out), were close and intense.  I ref'ed the Merry and Gents match, and it was one of the most intense and brilliant matches I've ever seen.  Both sides fought insanely well, and it was sort of too bad that there had to be 1 winner.  Also, with slow time and a couple of players disconnecting, the teams showed incredible sportsmanship and waited and pulled back when the refs asked them to or voluntarily.  That was really nice.

I later saw the Paddling vs Crows match, and another tactical and highly competitive match.  It was pretty awesome to watch.

I still haven't seen the Muse stream, and, in fear of what qwerty would say, I might never watch it, hahahaha.

This is just week 0, and I for one am really excited to see what week 1 would bring, with no slowtime :D

Thanks again everyone and hope you all had fun!  Happy Sunday, Bubbles

AquaMac:
I was disappointed as well not being able to see the Gents vs. Merry Men match. I even watched my match for seeing from spectator mode helps to understand the mistakes I might have made, and how to improve myself.  Besides the slow lag, and disconnects, the American day light savings time did not help matters either. LOL

I would really like to give Paddling a shout out for being good sportsmen in having a cease fire until our disconnected crew came back. Very good sportsmanship. Quack Quack! :)  have played with most of the the guys in the Cogs scrimmage either on their team and crew or against them, and most if not all are very nice, and even helped some of them prepare for this Cogs scrimmage. I think most of us want good competition, and want teams to challenge us so in that way we get even better.

Dev Bubbles:
Noted Aqua, slow time will be fixed up.  Disconnects should be improved with the patch as well, although for different players of different regions, disconnect might happen once in a while.  Daylight saving time should be abolished by the US government...  That one is out of our control...

Skrimskraw:
looking forward to playing PaFa next week.

N-Sunderland:
What was the score in Paddling vs. Corvus?
