An arkicar is a small blimp that is tethered to a cable and towed between two locations. Similar to the archaic chairlift or gondola, this machine is most often used in traversing hilly terrain, such as in Yeshan mountain ranges.

Native to the frozen north, Despair Fog is the result of Ice Drakes, an ice faring lizard, exhaling large amounts of steam, a result of their biological process to keep warm. While it'll often cool quickly, the difference in temperature is enough to weaken the ice around them, often this now cooled byproduct will linger in the area for sometime, warning travelers of weak ice and the like.

A legend, folk tale, or an actually deity, Ilshara has been spoken many times by the people of the League. Many say that it takes it's home in the blinding desert hunting, scavenging, watching. It acts as a protector of sorts as guiding travellers trapped in sandstorms, but it's personality can turn on a dime attacking those without mercy. Scores of people claim to have seen this beast, some tried to hunt it as well for proof of its existence. Those who claim to have been near it and we're close to touching or capturing it says that a blinding light and a rush of sand can be seen from where it stood before it vanishes.

Dunefilth is what dock workers describes airships who come to port carrying objects and debris. It is usually tons of sand that gets stuck to many of the nooks and crannies as well as metal bits from destroyed vessels.

A Collock is a large bird, known for its delicious meat, and stupidity.  The bird is harvested by many voyaging captains low on food, and is sold in many markets where the birds migrate.  The most effective form of harvesting the birds has been catching them in nets strung between two ships.  The birds fly into the nets, and their long, awkward necks get stuck in the rungs of the net.  Hence the popular phrase used by sailors, "caught like a Collock in a net."

A device to deploy airships into the air and combat faster, these slings are owned by those wealthy enough to install such devices at a high enough altitude. These slings are dangerous if handled poorly as it can rip the hull in half. Still under heavy development, many operators chose to use them as, despite the setbacks, the result yield great success in deploying defensive vessels in the air.

A shrivelled and sour fruit found growing on extremophile bushes in the arid deserts and wastes to the south and west. They are named after an old patron deity of mercy and kindness, preserved in the culture of Arashi. These berries, with their plants' roots extending deep into the dry soil, have saved the lives of many shipwrecked and stranded crews.

A simple drunk dare game where many an airman play. It is a tilted open box with pegs littering randomly across the board, on the bottom hold slots of different dares that are written on a piece of paper. The game goes, one man drops a disk from the top, a pongle, and watch as it hits the many pegs on its way down determining the man's dare. Funny, simple, and humiliating to the ones who have gotten the worst dares.

Prietula is a large settlement within the canyon walls of eastern Yesha, a popular trade port for airman traveling either way due to it's convenient location and hardy drinks. Well protected from attack due to the fact that any attacker will have to traverse the canyon it's self, which is laden with nooks and crannies in which are hidden devious traps and weapon emplacements, making it a hazardous and often profitless venture.

The Paritian Raiders rejuvenated humanity's interest in producing music. Only old tapes and records of music had been found before, but The Raiders decided to produce music of the new age. They distributed their music on mechanically carved records and gave each town they visited a single gramophone designed to play their creations. Their airship was sadly shot down during a live-fire exercise by the Yeshan military as they were making too much noise in the vicinity.

Often deranged and insane, or at least looking at them from an outward perspective one would get that from a first glance, especially if they look at the jobs possible causes of death, which happens to be 5 pages long. Locoproptor's get the job done, if only because they'll do pretty much everything, from running courier work to maintaining tunnel systems in Firnfeld and elsewhere. Locopropters are commissioned workers, working a job for a company because either they're short handed or they just need the extra muscle to get things done with little trouble. While they typically only take normal labor contracts on occasion they have been known to take, other work. They've been known to take some of the strangest mercenary contracts available from time to time, from running ten different routes at the same time to ensure a package gets to its destination in once piece to sabotaging guild trade vessels without ever letting on it was them.

"Claver's Redoubt " is a rocky outcropping at the edge of the great dessert made infamous by mercenary captain Nathanial Claver. For 26 years Claver lead raids in to Yeshan territory amassing a great deal of wealth and making a mockery of the Yeshan armed forces. He was eventually tracked down to the the Rocky outcropping that bears his name where he made a last stand. The ensuing battle was one of the fiercest in Yeshan history. The accounts from both sides are mandatory reading in the Yeshan war academy.
