The Description Game
Skymonger:
Project Atlas.
Now most things beginning with "project" often came from the Icy depths of Anglea from the Old world. Usually refering to an Advanced tech development that can no longer be made today in the Age of Sky.
Atlas however...came from Arashi. Buried beneath 500 tons of sand, and incarcerated in its own Tomb of Titanium walls, it was quite obvious someone of the past took drastic measures to keep whatever was being created here from ever seeing the light of day.
With good reason.
Atlas is a Biological weapon designed with being Atmospherically dispersed over continents through the use of microscopic spores. Upon contact with moisture, the spores Rapidly grow to 200 times their size and effectively bury the source of moisture in a horrific fungal mass. Think of a small sugar crystal suddenly being large enough to crush a car upon contact with water.
Then imagine it inside someone's lungs.
The few surviving samples were pulled from Arashi and Taken to Anglea where they were analyzed by Blackguard technicians before being Properly burned.
-The Solaris Disaster.
BdrLineAzn:
An experiment gone wrong, the Solaris Ordnance Launcher, or S.O.L for short, was a Chaladonian weapons platform used to fire a deadly new rocket. S.T.A.R, Strategic Tactical Arlen Rupture, was developed to emit a large blinding light to distract enemies, as it lights up, it also sends out deadly rays of heat to literally melt its victims. Developed by scientist, Jauque Arlen, he developed the chemical mixture that gives this bomb its potent proprieties. Testing took place on the Northeast coast of Chaladon above the Sea of Devils during the winter nights as the Winter Lights masked any of the explosions making it seem like with is part of the yearly phenomenon. It's fifth test, Professor Arlen himself was present and recommended to increase the mixture to display its might in front of the top brass. The first four test slowly increased the amount of how much was used in the bomb, what the Professor suggested was 10x more than that of the fourth test. Complying, his men created the bomb but strongly pleaded with the man not to fire it.
"Nonsense, this is perfectly safe. In fact I myself will launch it," Were his last words spoken before taking his personal ship with a S.O.L launcher out in the middle of the ocean. Off in the distance, much of the Chaladonian military stand idle as a single contrail is seen before immediately exploding not even 50 feet from Arlen's ship. The light was bright enough, citizens in Arcca thought it was an early sun rise. Once the light has settled and the darkness coming back, nothing was left of either Arlen or his craft. Dub too dangerous in large amounts, the military disband the project and Classified reports named the accident "The Solaris Disaster."
The Raven of Lord's Leap By Scarlet Rosewood
Skymonger:
The Raven of Lord's leap by Scarlet Rosewood is a strange Black Covered book Handwritten by the "Red Shamen of Arashi", Scarlet Rosewood.
Scarlet is a woman of mystery, possessing a figure so old and spindly, you can't understand how she lives and breathes without collapsing into a pile of ashes.
But, despite how she looks, she always insists that she is only 63, even if its been 20 years since the last time someone saw her.
Inside the Raven are several hundred thousand pages detailing Ancient rituals pertaining to 'Satanic spells' or 'Black magic' coming from years before the end of the Last great civilizations.
In addition to these inscriptions, there are just as many stories describing the Red shamen's Travels Across the desert and World.
This is where things get interesting, should you get past the fear of being condemned. In her Stories it describes civilizations of the past and their way of life. How people ate, lived, worked, what their homes were like, how their Society grew, And what ended that civilization.
She even adds in more specific details in her records by recording people's names and languages in their entirety.
Most would call the Raven to be fiction and nothing more.
However, there have been recent excavations deep beneath Anglea and Arashi of unidentifiable Civilizations that were so shockingly accurate to the Ravens Stories that one would believe that Scarlet was there.
And so her Mysteries grow.
---The Hallowed ground of Yesha.
C r o w:
The Hallowed Ground of Yesha,
Those fukken glorified rocks,
The unbreachable temple,
The Lair of the Dragon and the Tiger,
The inheritance of the Old World.
Many are the names given to this mythical, yet real, place. It was once known only by the Emperor himself, as it was the place where it was said that the two strongest divinities of the Yeshan pantheon lived.
The common folk simply call it "the Hallowed Ground", and foreigners simply add "Yeshan" before "Hallowed".
Monks there called it the "Lair" and many sacrifices to honour the Tiger and the Dragin were had. It is such a beautiful place geographically that anyone who would go there would drop their jaw in disbelief that something so nice and not-dead could exist outside of Chaladon.
Only the High Priest and the Emperor themselves had the possibility to enter it, and no other.
During the early Arashi Independence Wars it acted as a fortress too, and somehow, despite outnumbering the yeshans 7:1 the siege of the temple was a complete failure that costed the Arashi a lot of their combat momentum, causing them to fall before the counter attack of the Imperial armies.
And that' sway it is called "the unbreachable temple".
"Those fukken glorified rocks" is the name that very polite and gentle geologists from the Baronies gave the place after they managed to sneak into the territory in order to find any valuable information about why that place was so much revered.
It is called also the "Inheritance" of the Old World by the Angleans, or more like "thier inheritance".
Only few times the Republic went to war with the Empire, and every time Anglea was doing it out of lust for new relics, as those who have much, desire even more.
-"My ship for an engineer!"
Carn:
A proclamation frequently shouted by Barons stranded in foreign ports. The Barons themselves, frequently train in piloting, leaving tasks like repairs, fall to subordinates. When these subordinates quit, the Barons shout, willing to give the ship to the engineer who can fix it, then piloting it back home, where the Baron promptly gets another out of dry docks.
The Man Below the Ice, by Theodore Fair wind
(Skymonger, Lord's Leap is the capital of the Baronies, and the Raven is a symbol of them as well)
