Carn:
A deadly insult among aeronauts, it compares ones body odor to primitive gases once used to fill balloons, and now which are banned according to several treaties as "unholly assaults against the olfactory system".

Skywhale symposium

ShadedExalt:
The Skywhale Symposium is a nickname for an apparent "Skywhale Migration"; that is, the reported sightings of the mythical beasts move much further south, surprisingly down into the Vastness.  It's said you can hear their haunting cries for miles, almost like a great debate.

Moonbuster Cannon

Skymonger:
The name of a Cannon from records dug up in Anglea, it apparantly had enough power to launch manmade objects into space, hence having enough power to puncture anything in existance.
Unfortunately, only two prototypes were built, and the project was ultimately scrapped for weaker, more cost effective Cannons.

One such protoype is seen sticking out of a mountain on Northern fjords.
And there is an ongoing effort to dig it out and reverse engineer it.

- A Forge gun.

ShadedExalt:
A Forge gun is an incredibly expensive, rare, and powerful weapon.  Gravity based, it projects a stream of physics defying "gravitons" towards objects, snagging them in a bubble of anti-gravity allowing the gun to move them at will.  Heavy, requiring vast amounts of power, and obscenely expensive, it is rarely deployed, and only by high ranking members of Chaladon, Yesha, and the Guild.  slightly more widespread in Anglea.

Often used in (de/re)construction efforts.

Forge Monitor

C r o w:
As un-inspired as it may seem, the Forge monitor is the system that permits to control a Forge gun.
Costing as much as 56 times more than the gun itself, it's one of the ''most common'' Old World relics used by either the wealthiest or more advanced military forces of the world.
Rumors are that actually only Anglea have the possibility to find such devices, and any other state in the world have actually bought one from them.

''Most common'' as in: every supreme general in the world have seen one at least once
