Thanksgiving was invented by Lincoln during the civil war to bring the country together with rose tinted goggles of the past. On that note I am thankful we are only murdering each other in the thousands online where death isn't permanent and kinda fun.

You guys all realize that if we didn't have all our ancestors fighting and dying in WWI, we wouldn't be here flying airships and killing each other digitally.

So let us all take a moment to thank the crazy idiots who turned the world upside down a hundred years ago. Their lust for trench warfare, mustard gas, and zeppelins paved the way for the Guns of Icarus world we know and love. A world without WWI...its just too scary to think about. We wouldn't have GOIO, we wouldn't have had WWII, we wouldn't have had Lord of the Rings!! ZOMG!!! THE HORRORS!!!!
