^this is actually what I was hoping for.... If we could do one in your timezone, and then one in mine, we should be able to cover a lot of different people

Alright,

I've decided to start this on monday, and alternate it every week, so that we can reach the max amount of players... So the Schedule is:

Monday the 11th
Tuesday the 19th
Wednesday the 27th

and so on.... Due to work and other obligations... The starting time would be 8 PM EST - 10 or 11 PM EST depending on volume of people who would like to learn.... I know people are in different timezones, so if you would like to setup something in your own timezone that's fine...

Ouch, that's always somewhen in the early morning for me - meaning 2 AM and such lovely stuff. We'll have to make a seperate table for the Europeans, I suppose. How many of the volunteers here would be present around more civil times for Europe? Something along 6-9 PM, GMT +1?

I can help tutor in european timezones but I don't think I'm quite experienced yet myself.

Aye, I'll set up a Steam group for it tomorrow, and then we can get to work setting up the European training games! If anyone else would feel like starting the group and organizing it, feel free to step up though!

I can try to set up around 8-10 pm PST. Mostly on the weekdays, I may not be the best at teaching per say but I am willing to teach others if they give it a chance

Do we want a steam group for the entire "training day"? or just for your individual timezones?

I'd say for the entire training day, we might still be able to share experiences or so, even if we can't come to train at the same time!

And I'm with you! I won't get home today anymore to dish out a cool list of possible dates anymore; but I'd suggest that we do our first European Session somewhen around the end of this week, and then try to join in the day-schedule of the EST sessions.

Once we've got a schedule set up and both "groups" working, contacting Jess or someone else from the Muse Team might be a good idea too, the Training Days could surely be posted in the official GOIO-Group's events.

Very well, we'll have this to get moving somehow for the European Timezone. We're a little late already compared to our EST mates. I sincerely hope this is not because there is a lack of discipline aboard your ships. I for one, can account for all my AI crew. Anyways.

I'd say we give it a try on this Thursday or Friday, starting around.. 7? 7 PM, GMT +1. 19:00 Uhr. 14th or 15th of March. That'd give us enough time still to ask for a calendar entry in the Official Group, if we sound convincing enough.

What's your say?

I'll probably be around for the European days once I'll be able to play GoIO again.

Gah, I got to my PC a bit late, and it seems that everyone else got started a bit earlier than I was figuring due to the Daylight Savings changeover......by the time I got there, the rooms were pretty much full.
