WARP DRIVE
« on: September 09, 2013, 03:37:53 am »
So, we had an amusing little velcro glitch this week in the Sunday Rumble, and I felt it was worth sharing, because it was hilarious:

All credit goes to Urz for making the video, doing the broadcast, organizing the rumble, and just being an overall cool guy  8)

Not warp drive Garou, flux capacitor. When this baby hits 88mph, you are going to see some serious *cough* (can't finish that quote for obvious reasons!)

Well, actually I was trying to keep that on the down low, but our crew is now equipped with hover boards. Our engies get around -much- faster now.

Don't worry, you guys will have them around 2015. Just make sure to visit Hill Valley, CA.

Garou, Rutger, Fenchurch and myself, were hard at work testing out the 1.21GhW flux warp drive we named, The Alternate Retreat Dimensional Intergrated System or T.A.R.D.I.S. for short.

Somebody needs to edit it so the Pyramidion stretches out now...

part 2 is them turning into plaid because they obviously surpassed warp 10 and went straight to ludicrous speed.

Haha!  That's awesome!  Good job Urz.

As much fun as it would be to hook up the warp drive, if you find yourself on a ship that decides physics are for the weak.  Grab your log and a description of what happened.  We always want to investigate ships that pretend to have personality.

Remember if your ship pretends to have independent thought take the closest gun and aim it at the deck.

The Muse Center reminds you that the Weighted Companion Airship will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak.

In the event that the Weighted Companion Airship does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.

Ha ha, TFD may claim the King of Velcro title for them selves as much as they want to, but wolf pack surely have got access to far more sophisticated velcro technologies... or is it that special - rhino exclusive - horn helm tool which alters the physics here?

Grab your log and a description of what happened.  We always want to investigate ships that pretend to have personality.
Aren't those logs overwritten at the start of each new match?

It's actually overwritten every time you start the game, not match.... so if you've played since then, you wouldn't have the data they're looking for.
