MetaFive    Lobby   08/31/2013 23:50:42   And that's enough lewdness in global chat, everyone.

MetaFive    Lobby   08/31/2013 23:52:28   Just cut it out and there won't be an issue.
MetaFive    Lobby   08/31/2013 23:53:46   It's a common name, but you know full well how you're using it, and it needs to stop now.
MetaFive    Lobby   08/31/2013 23:53:49   I'm not asking again.
MetaFive    Lobby   08/31/2013 23:54:41   Are you done?

Is everyone missing the point that i got no direct warning?
I mean it could happen to someone else i'm here to prevent that o try to.

Instead of being so biased you all should look over the fact that there was no direct warning.
Give me a second, maybe I can find some other guy's fate after being entangled with one of a game's developers...

There you go: http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=102556

Probably a bad analogy but enough of this...

So Ivan your out on a date and you start coming onto her in a way she doesn't like. She tells you to stop but you persist. She slaps you and runs off then accuses you of attempting to do horrible things to her. You ask her later why she did that. She says, I told you to stop and you didn't. You say...well you didn't warn me I was going too far. Yeah...that doesn't hold up in any court in this land. No means no.

When a Mod says enough, that is your warning. Some will attempt to exhaust all options before they get to flagging an account but the moral of the story is...don't violate the guidelines in front of them. I've been with Urz when he had to flag an account because a guy was behaving trollish. He was told to stop, he didn't. Not even for a CA.

The CA clearly said enough and to cut it out.

MetaFive never gave a direct warning of a ban or a kick, therefore I didn't know i was gonna get banned.

Seems like a warning to me. You should have at least been able to infer that there would be a serious consequence... and stopped once you realised this.

all that being said, I agree with gilder.  This is an unpleasant and seemingly unproductive discussion, and I fear it does not reflect well on the greater GOIO community

I agree, and I wish I could lock it, but due to certain circumstances Muse has decided to let this one carry on. It's not optimal, but it's necessary.

Relocking this thread.  It looks like everything has been said and is mostly getting repeated now.
Ivan if you'd like to keep talking about this with me feel free to PM me or shoot me an email directly at Keyvias@musegames.com.
That holds true for anyone else as well.
