Fire charges and their damage

Kony For Prez:
How much damage does each fire charge do per second. Does 4 fire charges on a gun equate to 4 fire damage per second? Saw nothing about how much damage fire charges do on the wiki

N-Sunderland:
With a single charge, it does 8 damage per second, plus 2 extra damage per second for each additional charge. That's multiplied by the fire modifier of the component it's on. The modifiers are as follows:

Balloon: 1.5      
Guns/Engines: 0.25
Armour: 0.8

Keon:
But you can't set permahull on fire, so ignore that.

N-Sunderland:
Yeah, I went ahead and removed the hull modifier... Should have realized that while posting.
