Ship Design: Piranha - The Ramming King
« on: August 28, 2013, 03:19:55 am »
Despite not being as fast as the squid, the Piranha has superior maneuverability above all else. It posses a huge main engine that can withstand extensive use of moonshine, making it the ideal ramming ship. The Piranha have a unique headlight/fire that can be toggle on of by the crew to lit up cloud cover or a big patch of the night sky (maybe deal extra fire damage upon ramming, too?)

[sorry for my inferior level of art skill, just trying to share something cool for the game I love.]

Love the drawing, though I'm not sure how you kill people with ramming if you only have rear guns or how you pilot from inside the balloon.

I don't know how far it is possible to make such a fire-balloon-not-gun-thing or invent that big engine (with more health so it can take moonshine much longer), so I can't say anything about that, but I really like your drawing! I'd like to see a small ship with guns pointed to the back (and front maybe?) only too!
I don't think it's a good idea to crash your best engine into an enemy's hull though.
