they tend to have that rustic, country sound, with a post-apoc feel, which I reckon fits pretty well to GoI.

Oh God, someone mentioned Bastion.  I love that game to death, and the OST would fit like a glove.

I always though the soundtrack from Arcanum would fit very well.  Hell, this game reminds me of Arcanum so much...  except you know magic.  And elves... and yeti.

...  It doesnt have much to do with Arcanum, but maybe the music.  And diesel punk aspects.
