Ccrack:
this weapon needs some serious balanceing.  useing heavy clip it can 1 shot destroy any component, it destroyed balloons faster than anything els ( though it was origianally ment to be used to do this ) and it can also destroy armor faster than any other weapon. the only draw backs being its a heavy weapon and it has slightly less range than the chain gun.

its too strong all around for a weapon thats ment to be a specialist balloon popper

Heavy Carronade is very very strong now due to recent changes in the way certain ammo types work however in my opinion it's balanced due to the fact that few ships can use it, it is easily destroyed itself and it's range is relatively short. 

Like all heavy weapons though it is extremely powerful in the right hands.

That might be why my galleon is so good when i have the cannonade on it and kind of shit when i have all rapid fire rocket launchers(can think of the name of them right now) (i normally have two of each)
