"First unread post" button missing
Meneldour:
Hey there, I'll try to keep the post brief.
When having a thread open, there usually is (other phpbb forums) a button that moves you to the first unread post in said thread, is there a way to put it here? It's very useful when you are actively monitoring a thread with more than a few pages.
Hopefully this is enough of a description, if not, don't hestiate to ask. :)
(although this might not be an issue rather than a suggestion, I decided to put it into this subforum, since it's forum related)

I've noticed the lack of this feature, but I'm not aware of any settings that would let me change that. Then again, I could just be missing it...SMF is just chock full of options, and I'm always stumbling over new checkboxes somewhere.
If anyone more familiar with SMF knows of a setting that would enable this behavior, please do tell! Otherwise, this might be an issue for the forum software developers...

From a brief google, it looks like there is a "New" button that is supposed to provide this function... not entirely sure where to enable it, but I hope this points you in the right direction.
Meneldour:
Is this what you're looking for? Then again, it was one of the first links google gave me...

(bear in mind that the only thing I know about the webdesign and its coding is the marquee tag :) )
