Other Options other than the tried and tested Gat/Flak
Rainer Zu Fall:
I use my pyra as a support ship, going for two charged/burst mercs on the top floor, a flare in the back and a carronade on the side.
Using burst as support for a CQC ship or a galleon works fantastically. Using charged as offensive tactic works quite good. However if there are good engineers on the enemy ship being attacked you may have to close in to them and ram them whilst charged mercs are bringing down the hull armor.
Eukari:
I'm looking for a decent medium-ranged build that's fairly versatile. My thought was, for a junker, Artemis on the front with Gatling/Banshee (or Mortar) on each side. We'd approach from a distance, using the rocket launcher to take out their systems and distract with fire, then sweep to the side to bring the Gatling (to strip their armor) and Banshee/Mortar (to smash their hull) to bear. The identical loadout on each side would give us more flexibility on where to engage, and the wide arcs on the guns could even give us a chance at a triple-assault.
I know the Mercury would probably be better on the front, but I rather hate that gun (firing it, not just being killed by it), and it wouldn't be as useful once we'd closed in anyway.

I rather love the howitzer, even through it's various changes and nerfs.
Rainer Zu Fall:
One or, even better, two banshees with incendiary are every engineer's nightmare.
Piemanlives:
Cake says 5 banshees :P this is no joke me and my clan mates have flown on vessels with 5 banshees, it's wonderful.
