Wait, what? There are mosquitos in Canada?

First of all, a great shame. That puts a dampener on my desire to go to Canada.

Secondly, between the cold and distinct lack of life, how in heck do they survive?

EDIT: Oh, and saw this and couldn't help but laugh

We survive by being used to temperatures ranging from -15 to -25 (-30 on the worst of days). Of course, winter's only a bit less than half the year, and there are only two really bad months.

Our Summer is a mosquito season. Beat that.
I had to sit in an open field to watch fireworks, don't even get me started.

That's why I stay in my house and play GoIO while everybody else is outside watching fireworks.

Here in the UK, seasons don't even exist, it's just an everlasting greyness and occasionally the temperature goes up or down a bit.
