I can't be the only one hearing this

<< < (9/11) > >>

Captain Lockheart:
Nope he has a valid point. Although i can explain it. *puts on glasses and pipe* It is simply a sound effect they added to the engines to make it sound like Steam pistons going up and down, and steam been pressured out each time.

Simples, ho did you NOT know before... noob :)

BADFOOT:
Its actually a three tone string, the first two being the "JAWS" notes. It occurs at the end of the mortar reload animation. Due to the double reload bug thing you get to hear it twice in the clip.

Captain Lockheart:
i couldn't hear that....

HamsterIV:
The sound is familiar to me but to conflate it with the theme from the movie jaws is a sign of deep psychological scars (probably Zill related). The sound of a mortar reloading must set off feelings of helplessness and inadequacy that Sunderland's troubled mind connected with being alone in the middle of the ocean with a shark circling. The jaws theme was simply a surrogate through which he could project his fear of being abandoned in a hostile environment onto this perfectly innocent action. It is ok Sunderland you can talk about it, we won't judge (much).

Captain Lockheart:
*monocle falls off*
How profound and thought through...

Bravo sir!

*claps*
