How is Nobody Seeing This?

So every once in a while a guns is nerfed for being OP. We've seen this with missile slings, mercs, lumberjacks, and now flaks. But has anybody noticed the true problem? Has anybody figured out what is truly causing unequipped crews to suffer?

WASD is OP as hell.

Think about it. I would wager that 90% or more of the tournament players used WASD. Whenever two ships enter in battle, the chances of one with WASD players coming out victorious are astronomically high. This game needs more than one strategy. This game needs a more diversified meta. So this is my proposition.

-- Decreased rate of movement with decrease in ship size to maintain travel speed
-- Reduced response time speed with increased game speed to maintain fidelity
-- Reversal of A and D with complete mirroring of the game to maintain control consistency

If that fails to reawaken the meta...

-- Adding an arming time. WASD moves you at half speed until you've walked halfway across the ship.

Thoughts, anyone?

TOTALLY agreed. ALSO, I need to bring this up: 100 percent of people that drink water DIE. Water has a 100 percent kill rate. Water is OP, nerf immediately.
