This small, spare ship is favored by mercenaries and freelancers who make their living flying from town to town, trading scrap and taking odd jobs. Rugged, versatile, nimble, and armed with quite a number of small guns, the Junker is adaptable to a variety of tasks.
While a Junker may be hired out as a mercenary ship to join in a coordinated assault, solo, it’s best at getting out of trouble, with its aft gun deck well-positioned to discourage pursuers.
