Showing Co-Op Mode and Weekly Progress Report 8/29/2014

Today, tomorrow, and Sunday we’ll be at PAX showing off the second of three game mods for Co-Op mode: Defense!

If like myself you aren’t actually at PAX, have no fear! We’re going to be streaming a match live at 3 pm in place of the regular dev hour. You’ll get to see the same first look that the press is getting as it happens!

Victor:
Fixing bugs and doing some research on PS4 and Linux.

Tim:
Play testing and getting the map ready for PAX.

Howard:
Pax!

Alex:
Testing and data-checking for the PAX demo, plus a few last-minute tweaks/fixes to Defense mode or the Director.  Improvements to the shiny new death effect shader.  Helped Valve track down Steam+OSX crashes.

Eugene:
Designing more boss ships

George:
Building some tools, playing map for PAX, setting up lightmaps, fixing some particle related bugs.

CH:
For PAX, tuning and debugging AI airships.

Jerry:
System load tests.

Shelly:
Working on mission painting testing.

Derek:
Added a flock of vultures to the Co-Op Defense map. Turkey vultures this time rather than the African white backs you get in Skirmish. The Beast Master is back!

Matthew:
PAX and Co-Op testing /organization.
